Tiger mosquito
The tiger mosquito, of which the scientific name is Aedes albopictus, is originally from Asia but has also been found in the South of France in recent years.
Aggressive and active during the day, it effectively transmits up to 30 different viruses in countries located in the tropical zone. Chikungunya and Dengue fever are some of the illnesses carried by this carrier.
