Nintendo DS
The Nintendo DS is a portable console from Nintendo, released in late 2004 in Japan and North America and in 2005 in Europe.
The DS has a novel approach to gaming using two LCD screens. Each three inch screen can display real 3D graphics. The DS can produce still more advanced visual effects than the Nintendo 64. The lower screen of the DS is a touch screen.
The Nintendo has wireless communication to connect to the free on-line gaming service Connexion WiFi Nintendo. This service is easy to install and allows you to play with your friends any time you want. All you need is a WiFi-compatible game such as Mario Kart DS or Animal Crossing: Wild World. Players can connect from home via their usual broadband wireless connection or from one of the many Nintendo WiFi hotspots.
