Taurids

The Taurids are a trail of rocky debris that follows the passing of the comet Encke close to the Earth, generally in late October. The Taurids are visible in the form of a shower of shooting stars in the sky. The radiant of the Taurids (the place from where they seem to come) is in the constellation of Taurus, hence their name.
