Chondrule

Chondrules are small spherules from 0.1 to 10 mm in diameter that are not found in terrestrial rocks, and are mainly composed of silicate minerals such as olivine and pyroxene. They occur in meteorites called chondrites (see meteorite).

The Allende meteorite is famous.
