ATV-CC

The ATV-CC (Automated Transfer Vehicle Control Centre) is a command centre set up in the Toulouse Space Centre to cover the ATV mission. It is managed by the CNES on behalf of the ESA and is in charge of running the operation and coordinating all the necessary ground facilities.

The ATV-CC implements the mission plan and prepares and validates the control tools. It monitors the various ATV flight phases, docking, the stabilisation and orbit transfer operations, then at the end of the mission, the release from the ISS, de-orbiting and re-entry into the atmosphere.

The ATV-CC works in collaboration with the ISS control centres at Moscow and Houston.
