INRA
INRA is the acronym for the Institut Nationale de la Recherche Agronomique, or the French National Institute for Agricultural Research. A French organisation created in 1946, in charge of:
- serving the public interest while maintaining the balance between the needs of research and the demands of society;
-producing and publishing scientific knowledge and innovations, mainly in the fields of agriculture, food and the environment;
- contributing to the expertise in, training in and promotion of scientific culture and techniques, as well as to the science/society debate.
