Green sticker
The green sticker came into effect in France in 1998 and identifies vehicles that contribute to reducing atmospheric pollution.
Advantages of the green sticker
This green sticker makes it possible to benefit from special parking and driving conditions, particularly by granting permission to drive during level 3 peaks in urban pollution.
End of the green sticker
The green sticker can be given to all electric vehicles or gas vehicles (LPG, CNG), as well as vehicles that have a catalytic muffler or an equivalent anti-pollution system.
The development of car pollution standards and the widespread use of catalytic mufflers have made this system obsolete. The green sticker is no longer issued when a new vehicle is purchased.
