Sterile neutrino

Sterile neutrons are hypothetical particles that are related to the neutrinos in the standard model but that only interact through gravity. They are fermions with mass.

They could play a role in cosmology and astrophysics.

Except in the form of very massive particles, experiments such as MiniBooNE and observations in cosmology no longer give cause to believe in their existence.
