Nucleosynthesis

Nucleosynthesis is the creation of new elements by nuclear reactions. An example is the thermonuclear conversion of hydrogen into helium at the heart of the stars in the main sequence. There are two main processes called "proton-proton chain" and "carbon cycle" (actually carbon/nitrogen).
