Frame-dragging
Frame-dragging , or the Lense-Thirring effect, is a phenomenon predicted by the Albert Einstein's general theory of relativity and should be detectable around rotating objects.
A body rotating about its axis and orbiting around a body such as the Earth or a Kerr black hole should have its axis of rotation in a precessing movement.
It is believed to have been detected in the case of black holes, but in May 2011 it was announced that Gravity Probe B had given direct proof of frame-dragging in the case of the Earth's rotation with a 19% margin of error.
