Cretinism

Cretinism is a bodily state involving mental deficiency, dry skin, dwarfism, specific facial features (swollen face and hypertrophy of the tongue), umbilical hernia, and lack of muscle co-ordination. It is generally due to severe congenital hyperthyroidism or other endocrine disorders.
