Biot-Savart law

Electricity The Biot-Savart law states that a magnetic field B created by a conductor carrying a current i at a distance r is orthoradial and has an intensity B = μ0/4 π . 2i/r , μ0 being the permeability of a vacuum.

This result is a consequence of Ampere's theorem.
