A Wiki is a piece of software that is a web page composition system, a collaborative tool and a discussion forum. It runs on the server and allows users to freely modify the content of a web page using any browser. A Wiki recognises hyperlinks and has a simple text interface for creating new pages, with links being created on the fly.
