Sento

A sento is a Japanese public bath that covers a wide area, where sections for men and women are separated by a wall. It played a very important social role until the mid 20^th century, the sento is less common today, eclipsed by the furo. To make urban facilities more attractive their owners transform them into Western style health farms.
