Parallax barrier

A parallax barrier is 3D technology based on the use of two screens. One image (e.g. the left hand image) is displayed on one LCD screen and the other on the second screen (the right hand image). Thus, provided viewers are at the right distance, they see two images simultaneously, their left eye seeing the pixels of one image and their right eye the pixels of the other; the image then appears in relief.
