H.261 is a CCITT (Consultative Committee for International Telegraphy and Telephony) image (288*180 pixels or 144*180 pixels) and sound compression format for transfer on ISDN (Integrated Services Digital Network) (and therefore at a speed of n*64 kbit/s).
