DMB
The DMB (Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) standard defines a digital broadcasting system for transmitting multimedia data flows (radio, TV, datacasting etc.) to a mobile terminal (mobile telephone, PDA, car, digital camera etc.). It is a development of the DAB (Digital Audio Broadcasting) standard, also known as Eureka 147, the standard developed in Europe for digital radio broadcasting.
DMB can be deployed in 2 different ways: by a purely terrestrial network (this is T-DMB for Terrestrial DMB) or by satellite link coupled with terrestrial repeaters (this is S-DMB or satellite DMB).
