Social network

A social network is a group of people connected by a social link. Social networks started to appear on the internet at the end of the 1990s, uniting people via personalised exchange services in which each person could decide whether to read the messages of such and such a user.

Facebook, created in 2004, is the most well known, and today is the most widely used.
