Longhorn

Longhorn was the former code name of the Microsoft Windows operating system following Windows XP and Windows Server 2003. It was known by this name until 22 July 2005 when the official name, Windows Vista, was unveiled at an American show. The first beta version was available from July 27 2005 and the final version was released worldwide in January 2007.
