Bluetooth

Bluetooth is a radio communication standard with a radius of action from one to a hundred metres depending on the equipment, developed by Bluetooth SIG. It is mainly used on mobile telephones, cordless headsets and personal assistants.

It is a standard for connecting two devices by a radio link within a radius of 10 to 100 m, in the 2.4 GHz band. It will eventually replace infrared links.
