AGP

AGP means Accelerated Graphic Port. A standard extension port for a graphics card in the form of a connector on the motherboard. Its speed at the beginning was 266 MB/s, later extending to 2 GB/s in the AGP 8x version. Since 2004 it has been phased out in favour of PCI Express.
