Nanofiltration
Nanofiltration is a technique used to separate components contained in a liquid. Semi-permeable membranes with a pore diameter between 0.001 and 0.01 micrometers are used.
The principle and use of nanofiltration
This technique removes colouring agents, polyvalent ions (heavy metals), organic micropollutants (pesticides), and nitrates. Nanofiltration is therefore used in depollution processes, and also for softening and decolourisingwater.
