Vulva
The vulva is one of the female sexual organs.
Function of the vulva
The vulva is all of the external genital organs of the woman and is therefore involved in reproduction and micturition.
Structure of the vulva
The different parts of the vulva are:
- the labia majora;
- the labia minora;
- the clitoris;
- the vaginal opening;
- the urinary meatus.
Internally, the vulva also includes the perineum, the muscle which extends from the anus to the area of the vulva.
