Blood

Blood is a fluid circulating in blood vessels which is formed from a liquid medium (plasma) which bathes cells.

It is the most important biological fluid and supplies all organs, providing them with oxygen and nutrients and removing waste from them. Blood is composed of 55% plasma and 45% cells: red cells, white cells, and platelets.
